Fishhunter911 Posted April 24, 2006 Share Posted April 24, 2006 Hey fellas! I just bought a 90 accord LX Auto with 140k on the clock. WHen I was test driving it, I noticed when cruising through the neighborhood, and let off the gas, then hit the gas again, the trans would downshift into first for about a second then back into second. Do these autos have computer controlled trans or does it have a kick down linkage? Also anything else I should check for or do to solve this. Benji Posted April 24, 2006 Share Posted April 24, 2006 well they are a computer controlled transmission, and a common problem with those cars. the interchange on the computer is 1990 only. and the DX and LX use one computer, the EX has a different one.
