She took off all the bolts but the tire still wont come off. her mom took the car last week to get new tires and the man told her she has locked tires. stetypeR Posted April 29, 2006 Share Posted April 29, 2006 When you say tire do you mean wheel?? if she has taken off all the bolts including any locking wheel nut and the wheel is still tight on, then try hitting the tire to make it loose if its still tight then try hitting the rim from behind with a rubber mallet, if possible when you have had a new tire fitted put some copper grease on the hub and a bit on each bolt that should stop it siezing next time it needs to be removed.
