edbmoney
'00 Accord EX - Automatic I cannot shift gears out of Park without using the shift release mechanism (inserting key). Once I do so, I can shift in and out of all gears. But, when I put back into Park it gets locked, and I can't unlock without repeating process of using the shift release mechanism again. Any ideas what may be wrong and how to fix? Thanks for your help.

edbmoney
thanks for the link. according to my manual there is no fuse associated with the gear shifter...... so, i don't think it's a fuse issue....ugh.
