96HondaAccord Posted August 3, 2006 Share Posted August 3, 2006 When I start up my '96 Honda accord up in the morning I notice a loud whining noise. I have my A/C on and also it very breif. phillyhonda800 Posted August 11, 2006 Share Posted August 11, 2006 looks to be a common annoying noise. my honda makes this weird high pitch winding sound in the morning too. not as often though. i placed my ear next to the power steering pump while the car was running and yep, that's where it's coming from.
