deadskinmask
I just installed a jdm f22a1 in my 91 accord and i cant get it to start. the motor turns but backfires. I found that the timing was 2 teeth off but that was reference from the original f22a1 motor. I still have the same problem but im not sure if the timing is set different for the us and jdm versions. I also did a compression test and everything checked out fine. so if anyone has any idea on what could be causing it let me know.

cranny
its definitely a timing issue , either with the belt or wrong firing order for sure. that said , im assuming everything is working order.
