///MPower
Hello, I have a 94 Accord EX and when I drive it, the speedometer will stay at 19-20 mph, even when I'm at a stand still, it still says that. And everyone once in awhile, it will start working again just Fine. I don't get whats causing it? Could it be a Bad Sensor or does the Whole Cluster Have to Be Replaced?? Any Suggestions would be helpful Thanx in Advance
Dabbs93Accord
Probably a bad Vehicle speed sensor. Is your check engine light on?
///MPower
Probably a bad Vehicle speed sensor. Is your check engine light on? No it isnt......Do you know where the sensor could be located?
2kflhr
From the right side of the car look behind motor, just to the right of center you will see it. It has plug going into it you can see 3 phillips screws holding the sensor part on, the whole unit is fastened with 2 bolts. Mine worked erratically so I bought one on e-bay for $12.99 + $12.99 shipping with a lifetime warranty. The Honda dealer (or should I say, stealer) wanted $154.00+ for the unit. I'll take my chances to save $125.+
Dabbs93Accord
No it isnt......Do you know where the sensor could be located? They usually work through the Tranny, but that's all I know as I've never actually had to mess with one.
Kegger
Top of the tranny towards the firewall. Should pull out, at least mine does.
