ras282
I picked this 1994 accord off my friend it had a broke axle and the croosmember bar was bent. I noticed when the car is on jack stands and i turn the car on that the driveshaft is spining. the clutch worked fine before the accident so I dont know if there is a cable that broke or what any ideas thanks :help:
dohc1991integra
is it permanetly stuck on the floor? or does it only do it every once in a while when driving down the road.
ras282
It stays stuck put you can pull it back with your hand and I've never drove the car I'm still fixing it
99HondaAccord
Is it hydraulic clutch??? Good chance the fluid leaked out of it somewhere.
Jeffro
Yes, its gonna be a hydraulic clutch... And its a good chance that the fluid is low, especially if you can still push it a little, even when its down. I used to have a perpetual problem like that with my '94 civic where it would entirely randomly decide to do that. Check your fluid first.

lceah
Bleeding the clutch master cylinder might work...until all the bubbles come out! or, it could be the release bearing!
ras282
Bleeding the clutch master cylinder might work...until all the bubbles come out! or, it could be the release bearing! I replaced the slave cylinder because it was leaking I bleed it, then should I still do the master cylinder
lceah
yes...the system should be bled and the fluid should be clean... If you replaced slave, replace the master too...the pressure from the new one is too much! leaks anywhere else?
