Mr.Steve
Hey, Im Steve. I Recently had my clutch master cylinder replaced. Its been working great for about the past week or so but now its making a loud sqeeking noise from outside the car when i press my clutch down. Its sounds like a loud un-lubed spring noise if that helps. I have visted some of the other clutch-related topics and couldn't find anything that really helps me out. If someone could offer some advise that would be cool.
cranny
its probably your pressure plate , could go away with time. where the clutch fork goes through the housing , you can put grease on the plunger but i bet on pressure plate. have someone step on it while your under hood see if it sounds like its comming from inside tranny. Mr.Steve
well cool, should i attempt to spray some WD-40 on the clutch slave or will that do anything good at all?....This damn sqeaking noise is a f*cker to listen too....
99HondaAccord
Are you sure its not a belt??? Touch the metal end of a screwdriver to various parts of your car and the other end to your ear. This will help determine EXACTLY where your squeaking is coming from.

Dedicated2Honda
haha. you have come across the biggest problem when fixing a car. if you fix something, it will break something else. you usually want to replace the master and slave cylinders together. you want them working at about the same ability.
