Refino00Civic
Hey guys, I just got my 2000 Honda Civic a few weeks ago. I'm 17 and I got it from my step mother. I don't know a whole lot about cars so I'm trying to learn as much as I can about my car. Everything I have is pretty much stock, as it wasn't really a priority to the previous owner. I'm here wondering what I can do to make it look nice but not spend too much money. My friends told me there wansn't much I could do to improve it, but I doubt that. Maybe a nice spoiler? Who knows. Anyway yeah I'm new, so, Hey

Refino00Civic
I'm really not too sure. This is my first car (obviously) so I'm not really sure yet how much money I want to put into it. I guess i just want some general information on what's available. Dashboards, Spoilers, Body Kits, stuff to spice it up a little. Here's some pictures: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v249/ref...0417071436a.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v249/ref.../0417071436.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v249/ref...0417071439a.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v249/ref.../0417071439.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v249/ref.../0417071438.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v249/ref...0417071438a.jpg
airjordan223
so basically youre looking for visual upgrades. for the inside, you could get some leather seats. my friend got them on his accord and we installed them, they look pretty good. he got those from autoleathers.com, ive also heard things from katzkin.com and leatherseats.com for the outside, first probably some rims and lower it a couple inches if you want a spoiler, i would stick with something OEM that doesnt look ricey like the big aluminum ones the dash kits can usually be found on ebay. member HungGSR got a carbon fiber one, that looks really nice so you could PM him and ask for pics, but they are on the site somewhere as well. Refino00Civic
Anyone have any suggestions for a spoiler? Maybe something you have that looks good? I'm looking for something simple, but to spice it up a bit. Also, anyone familiar with some sort of body kit I could get?
airjordan223
the 2000 civic si OEM spoiler looks good most people here dont like kits, they will suggest you drop it, and get a lip kit. go to www.bodykits.com theres a whole bunch you can look through there
Refino00Civic
Yeah, that spoiler looks nice. How do I go about getting it painted the same color as the car? Also, where would you suggest I buy it? Additionally, are these things any good? They looked nice. http://www2.partstrain.com/products/AutoBo...ml?sku=H070110C http://www2.partstrain.com/products/AutoBo...html?sku=17111P http://www2.partstrain.com/products/AutoBo...html?sku=17120P
airjordan223
i wouldnt get that grill, but if you like it, get it. and the bumpers you posted, arnt those the same ones that are already on the car. take the spoiler to a body shop and they can paint match it, shouldnt cost too much. search ebay for 2000 civic si oem spoiler, or google, and just compare prices

I'll work on getting a spoiler. Also, where can I take it to get it lowered, and by how much should I do it without making it difficult to drive without scraping it up all the time. airjordan223
youd need to buy some springs/shocks or coilovers. a good drop would be around 2 inches
