9600baud
Hello, I am planning on saving some $$$ to swap in a GSR engine in my 94' LS. The question is... (im quite the newbie) what do i need to buy and what can I keep from the LS? Meaning... do i have to swap out the tranny, mounts, etc... and other stuff too? Thanks! 9600baud
thats a great site... so I cant keep things like my starter or tranny?
JDM Jackass2
you can, but you shouldn't. the b18b tranny sucks, it has longer gears than the GSR, and no LSD. (lsd is an extra 300 bucks at HMO, you need one!)
Guest jonb16b
you could keep your ls block and buy a b16 head and a b16b or b18c5 tranny they both come with LSDs that combo is more bang for the buck in my eyes.
