SamLach
I'm about to buy an engine from HMO and wanted to know what I should replace once I get it (like sparkplugs, timing belt, etc..) thanks!
Kegger
Do a tune up and replace all seals and gaskets. May not be necessary but it's better safe than sorry.
compuvision02
Water pump, timing belt, I doubt you'll need plugs, I think mine were the ones from Japan for almost a year, before I got a miss due to cleaning my engine bay.
compuvision02
You'll also need an intake, an exhaust if you can, and I believe you will need a test pipe or catalytic converter, not sure your stock catalytic converter will bolt up. Replacing all the seals and gaskets is a little overboard, in my opinion. It makes sense to get it done, but I don't think it will need it. Except for the parts that came off my car, still have the Japanese gaskets and seals. HMO has clean engines.
SamLach
Yeah its a B16a I'm looking at. I guess I never really thought of the whole exhaust thing...I'm guessing my stock one won't bolt up...hm
