Need to rebuild 97 motor

What are my options to rebuild/replace my stock 97 accord 4 cylinder, keeping it Ca. smogable, and adding HP?

What are Tranny considerations I must pay attention to?

Left turn signal is rapid, Looked into replacing bulb, and found it impossible to remove. Just can't get to it.

Thanks.

Also, need a 97 SE alloy wheel. Where can I find one?

h22 and f20b? hotter motors? like from vtec?

bulb out is front right marker (turn) signal. I removed the air box and tube. still could not get to the back of the lens.

thanks

Velocifero:

"youre gonna need a long crosstip screwdriver and maybe a flashlight. theres a little hole next to each bumper lens on the inside of the bottom opening on the bumper. shine a flashlight in there and look for a screw. unscrew that and gentle pull towards the middle of the car (middle meaning between the headlights). you might have to stick your hand behind and persuade it a bit, but it should pop out. installation is reverse of removal. dont forget to put the tab-side in first though, then the other side and screw it in."

I could not have said it better myself.
