vasu
HI , I have 2001 honda accord 4 cylinder 4 dr 2.3L. It has around 92k miles. From the 5 to 6 months, I am observing engine has a little shake(Vibration) when I start. Also some noise from under the car near rear wheels. I did 90k service myself, I changed spark plugs( NGK - Iridium), air filter, oil , oil filter, checked all the fluid level, radiator flush. Recently I changed water pump. Timing belt is good so far. I did not changed distributor rotor and cap. I am not sure whats the problem. Even after above 90k service, the engine vibration or shaking doesn't gone away, I will check distributor rotor. I am curious does any have the same or similar problem ? if yes what should I do ? Thanks Vasu
CleanGSR
First thing to come to my mind is checking your motor mounts. It's not uncommon for one to go bad around 100k and a bad one would definately cause some extra vibrations.
vasu
I did changed the motor mounts 6 months ago. It did not helped. Also when it starts little shaking, I notice there is a loss of power also.
