j.dehn Posted August 31, 2007 Share Posted August 31, 2007 I have a 95 accord ex auto with 2.2l vtec engine. The problem is with the ac. When the ac is turned on the compressor does not engage. I can run a jumper wire to the compressor and it will engage. Is there a switch or relay that controlls this that may have gone bad? And if there is, where is it located? James Matteu Posted August 31, 2007 Share Posted August 31, 2007 It could be a bad: relay, fuse, connection, field coil, switch, or low pressure. If the pressure is too low, there is a fail-safe that prevents the compressor from engaging. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
