chris_agu28
Okay where to start. Both motors have the same cylinder walls and such. Both are about the sameish. Both engine are heavy. H22A1 & H22A4 It has 190 HP USDM version. Has v-tec. Red line 7800. It is a 2.2 liter and pretty quick. H23 It has 197 HP USDM version. Is a Non v-tec engine. Red line 7200. It is a 2.3 liter. Basically same as above but gives up v-tec for torque. It all depends on what you are really planning on doing with the engine. Both engine can take some abuse but the weakness is the sleeves on engine. It you are planning on doing alot of work to the engine. Have in mind to get it resleeved at one time. Your engine will thank you. Are you going to be using it NA, Boost, Spray, SC, etc. This determines what you are doing with it. Here you go. Google and Wiki are your best friends on the net. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honda_H_engine

Velocifero
Both redlines are supposed to be at 7200, but you can take it to 8000 easily.
