cuse
I just installed a new battery about 6 weeks ago when my car wouldn't start. Three weeks ago, I had a flat tire on the side of the road and my flashers were on while I was waiting for AAA (the car was off). After the tire was replaced, my car wouldn't start, so I was jumped. It started fine the rest of that week. I haven't driven it since that week and went to start it today. No luck. Checking it with a voltmeter, the voltage reads 10.5V. Is this a problem with the alternator? Is there something else I should be checking?
Ben.
Did you check battery voltage when you got it? Could be a factory dud. It happens.
James Matteu
Could be a factory dud. It happens. +1, change the battery again. You should receive a pro-rated credit for the the 6 week old battery.
