str8uplethal25 Posted April 1, 2008 Share Posted April 1, 2008 Hello everyone. Great forum by the way. I just purchased a 97 Accord LX Sedan with the v6 MOTOR. It runs great and I got it pretty cheap because the hood is dented pretty bad beyond repair. If i knew how hard it was to find a hood for this car i never would of bought it. Can someone please help me and direct me to a website or someone that sells a OEM style hood for this car. New or used I dont care. I live in Rochester N.Y. I know how hard it is to find 6-cylinder stuff, have you looked around for some bone yards? Call first, I have yet to see a 6-cylinder model there. When I bought my lower bumper spoiler, I had to go to Honda and get one new, and that was after I wasted $15 on one off a 4-cylinder model since I had no idea the bumper was so different. I have not found one hood online yet or any local yard. Theres gotta be some other way besides the dealer. I'm losing hope though lol. Let me know if anybody knows of anything!
