F22B2 Posted August 16, 2008 Share Posted August 16, 2008 I have 1997 Honda Accord Lx which has F22B2 Engine in it, someone told me that i can take the head off that f22B2 and put different head the Vtec head will the Vtec head fit on my F22B2 properly? will i have any difficulties? will it give me more horse power? be more specific pls! Hatch92 Posted August 16, 2008 Share Posted August 16, 2008 i know the d-series motors in the civic you can swap the SOHC non-vtec heads for a SOHC vtec head. i'm almost possitive it's the same way with the F-sereis motors. all you would need is the head, ECU and run the wires for the vtec solenoid.
