md7323 Posted November 5, 2008 Share Posted November 5, 2008 I am in the process of completing a head gasket job on a 1986 accord LXI. I am having difficulties putting the black hose under the manifold on the box that looks to be resting in the rear motor mount; the hoes came off the box and not off the manifold. My question, if I do not have that hose tight to what looks like part of the PVC system what problems will I have. CleanGSR Posted November 5, 2008 Share Posted November 5, 2008 If it's the PCV then you could end up with bad idling and/or stalling, among other things. Plus having the PCV system not intact is bad for pollution/environment. You should really try to get that hooked back up.
