In fact, I have a serious question out of what someone told me about the 2004/2005 (5-speed) and 2006 (6-speed)model. Is it true that the 5-speed gearbox matches better with this car? The carsalesman from the Honda garage in my neighbourhood told me so.To him, it appears that the 5-speed gearbox makes the car faster and gives it a more balanced character. Is this true? I would appreciate to receive any information from you around this subject, because there is only one week left to decide Thank you! Xeryon Posted January 31, 2009 Share Posted January 31, 2009 This will be difficult to answer as Honda felt necessary to exclude the US for selling their diesel engines. I would love to have a Honda TDI but they do not exist here. Since 95% of our members are from the US you might be out of luck for receiving a quality answer to your question. If you do end up buying the car please be sure to stick around. I would love to learn more about a TDI Honda. They are supposed to be launching a TDI Accord this fall.
