Cradb16crx
I have a 1989 Honda CRX with a b16a. I am wanting to do the Poormans Type R but I want to learn more about it before I decide to do that for sure. I am wanting to do it because it seems to be cheaper to do that than a turbo. I was origionally thinking a 55-75 shot of nitrous but now the Poormans Type R seems like a better idea. I am wanting to know should I go Poorman Type R or nitrous? By the way the nitrous I found is $600 and the Poorman conversion is about $1,300.

Cradb16crx
I am planning on keeping my b16 bottom end and use a type r head. What other things do I need to know?

Cradb16crx
Can I just keep my head and just upgrade it? If so what do I need. I'm assuming dual valve springs, type r cams and probably port and polish.
