honDUHchick Posted July 10, 2010 Share Posted July 10, 2010 i have a gas leak from the tank...but it doesnt leave a puddle on the ground... i have a 98 honda accord 4cyl vtec and i go thru 20 dollars of gas every other day almost every day, and idk where its going bc it doesnt leave a puddle when im sitting at idle but i see it and smell it all over the tank.....i drive bout 50 miles a day and 20 bux gives me 8 gallons, i usually got about 415 miles to the tank until this... im dropping the tank tnite to see whats up but b4 i do, ne suggestions? xd980 Posted July 12, 2010 Share Posted July 12, 2010 yea so i didnt no the tank was above frame lol have you tried opening the fuel pump access? that would be the only locations that should/would leak IMO....id check my fuel lines and fuel pump to make sure they are sealed good and if they were i would just trace the fuel system for any leaks at all... how long has it been since you changed the filter?
