Ms7294 Posted April 23, 2011 Share Posted April 23, 2011 I'm looking to buy a 2001 honda accord that is fully loaded, leather, sunroof,spoiler, and navi. it has 126000 miles on it and its an auto tranny. I want to know what type of maintance i will have to do on it and will it be costly before I actually go ahead and but this car? i was also looking at an 05 toyota solara. which is better solara or accord? poorman212 Posted April 23, 2011 Share Posted April 23, 2011 An 01 V6 and an auto.....I'd be worried about the trans. Make sure you have, get the records for the maint done. They are known for having issues in this generation. Also with the number of miles on it you'd want to know if the timing belt has been changed...if not, it is due. Peronally I like my Honda's.
