rkenyon4106
I have a 1994 Accord EX 2.2 VTEC. The battery wont stay charged even with the engine running. The battery is new, the alternator is new. Both have been tested at 2 separate places. Advanced Autos report states there is a "diode short" causing a 119mV ripple. During the test, no load voltage read 14.02 volts, loaded read 11.43. So, my question is, which diode is causing this killing of the battery. The diode in the alternator that tested good or the A/C diode that I found on the schematic, or do I need a new ECM? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
