88 conversion to a 92 engine?

I've been working on a 1988 honda accord lxi, taking the timing belt off to replace the head gaskets. its a horribly difficult job getting the cerankshaft/harmonic balancer pulley off. The engine isnt the greatest anyways and i was wondering if i could change it out for a 1992ish engine. the different in displacement is .2 liters. 2.0 to 2.2

What would i have to do for this to work and if anyone has a way to gfet the pulley off of the 88 engine i would greatly apreciate it.

Thanks,

Troy
