STLA40 Posted July 3, 2012 Share Posted July 3, 2012 So the other day i was messing with my car stereo wires and when I did it made my tail lights, parking lights, and dash lights go out. I replaced a few fuses and now all those lights came back on except for the dash lights. Ive checked every fuse, and even tried a new headlight switch. Any ideas what to do? James Matteu Posted July 5, 2012 Share Posted July 5, 2012 Replace the Dimmer Switch you toasted while fumbling with a hot circuit. All Small Lights (parking, tails, dash) share a power source but only the dash lights are grounded separately via the dimmer, and it can be damaged. The Brake Lamps and Horn use a different circuit.
