Gus98 Posted July 20, 2012 Share Posted July 20, 2012 I recently changed the auto transmission on 98 accord and hours after the key wont turn all the way and it wont come out, if I move the shifter from Park to D1 and back to Park a few times , it comes out. they replaced the neutral safety switch with no results, Took it to AAMCO for 2nd opinnion and they say is most likely coincidental and they want $ 100.00 to remove console and see if there is another switch that is not sending enough voltage to the ignition to release key.
