djllks3777 Posted January 5, 2013 Share Posted January 5, 2013 I have a 02 accord and after parking it for a day it would not start, It would try and turn over but not luck. So I put a brand new battery in and thought that would fix it, still no luck. It wasn't until later we noticed sparks coming off the distibutor cap and realized that was the problem. Turtlehead Posted January 9, 2013 Share Posted January 9, 2013 Start by replacing the cap and check the old one for a crack and/or check that plug wires and unsure they are secured and they are not split or worn. Also, check the rotor button for cracks. Sometimes when the button it cracked the spark will jump terminals and not allow a car to start. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
