1992 ACCORD HELP!!

LAFORD1986

Recommended Posts

I have a 1992 Accord LX 2.2. I have a misfire, (dead cyl.) on #4 that I cant correct.

I have;

NEW NGK PLUGS

SWAPPED PLUGS

NEW NGK WIRES

SWAPPED WIRES

SWAPPED INJECTORS

NEW DISTRIBUTOR

COMPRESSION TEST, (around 160 on all 4)

(what I mean by swapping is moving parts around to see if problem moved. Never did.

Problem remains on #4 cyl.

ANY recommendations would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks

1. Double check the compression numbers.

2. Make sure the new distributor is working, specifically the ICM.

3. Make sure you have a good connection between injector #4 and the ECU.

4. Read the old plug gor #4.

5. Make sure you have hot spark on #4.

Other than some kind of blockage, I'm at a loss. I always say if you have checked everything and found nothing then you missed something, so check everything again.
