LAFORD1986
I have a 1992 Accord LX 2.2. I have a misfire, (dead cyl.) on #4 that I cant correct. I have; NEW NGK PLUGS SWAPPED PLUGS NEW NGK WIRES SWAPPED WIRES SWAPPED INJECTORS NEW DISTRIBUTOR COMPRESSION TEST, (around 160 on all 4) (what I mean by swapping is moving parts around to see if problem moved. Never did. Problem remains on #4 cyl. ANY recommendations would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks
James Matteu
1. Double check the compression numbers. 2. Make sure the new distributor is working, specifically the ICM. 3. Make sure you have a good connection between injector #4 and the ECU. 4. Read the old plug gor #4. 5. Make sure you have hot spark on #4. Other than some kind of blockage, I'm at a loss. I always say if you have checked everything and found nothing then you missed something, so check everything again.
