Streetlord720
Hello to any one who might know accords down to a T. I've been tryin for figure out the problem wit my accord f22b2 lx 5 speed. For the past year it's had lack of power n it's getting worse. I've done full tune up from spark plugs, cables, cap n rotor, speed sensor, map sensor, fuel filter, cleaned egr valve n ports. When it starts up it sputters for a sec then goes into regular idle, if I don't let it warm up it run decent and as it warms up it begin to lose power n sputters if I give it has too fast so I really gotta let it creep up to speed n watch the pedal n rpms cuz if they go below 2000 the car lacks n sputters while misfires. Streetlord720
Do u think that could b it Even if I undo the each spark plug one at a time while the engine is running n each spark plug changes the engines idle n makes it misfire?
James Matteu
Instead of pulling spark plugs one at a time, and before you do anything else, check the igntion coil. It may not be it, but you stand to lose nothing by checking.

Streetlord720
Every time I unplug the the ignition coil cable that comes from the cap or coil the engine dies, unless theses another way to check the coil
James Matteu
Okay wow. That's not checking the Ignition Coil. You must measure the resistance across the primary and secondary windings. Perhaps this is beyond your skill level and it would be prudent to take the vehicle to a mechanic.
