jsassman Posted June 3, 2016 Share Posted June 3, 2016 I'm the owner of a 2010 Accord EX-L. The auto dim mirror has never worked since I purchased the car in September 2015. I had found a video which showed all the steps for removing and installing a new or used auto dim mirror but have long since lost the link to that video. I know removal of the mirror from the windshield requires a small torx driver, but in the video there was a pic showing how to remove the wire from the back side of the mirror. Seems perhaps there is a little tab that needs to be pressed to release the lock on the plug in. I need to know how exactly to release the lock on the plugin to remove it from the back of the mirror. jsassman Posted June 4, 2016 Author Share Posted June 4, 2016 Got the wire unplugged from the back of the mirror having found a release tab and removed the old mirror Installed the used mirror in its place.
